Hi,

I have been at a loss to find a way to remap the break sequence on a sparc
and I have noticed your group working on this issue.

We are running 20 sparcs with solaris 2.5.1 on them and we put them on a
terminal server. Unfortunately, when the power is cycled on the terminal
server, all the sparcs drop into the eeprom. I've seen programs to
disable/remap the keyboard L1-A sequence, but not for the serial break.

the only thing I have seen to disable/remap the serial break sequence is
through Sun (their consulting group) called ZSBRK and they charge $1,700 a
machine! That's a crime, considering their hardware is the only one with
this "bug".

We don't want to disable the ability to get to the eeprom (so we can get
to it remotely over the terminal server), but we also don't want it to
crash when we cycle power on the term server also.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.....
