I don't remember with which device, but this definitely happens
on my SS10/41, too. First the screen goes white-on-black, then
black-no-white text is used to scroll the white-on-black up, but
there's no cursor. (Not that I really care of, this machine is
headless most of the time - just noticed it when I had to discover
that I had to upgrade bootblocks when upgrading from 1.4D to
1.4K ;-).
