Hi,

In article <Pine.NEB.4.10.9909131042240.24013-100000@fatmac.ee.cornell.edu>, Michael Wolfson wrote:

I've got a related (similar?) problem. I'm trying to get the parallel
port of my classic (running 1.4.1) to work. I compiled a kernel using
'bpp* at sbus0 slot ? offset ?' in the config file. This gets me a
'bpp0 at sbus0 slot 4 offset 0xc800000 level 2 (ipl 3): rev 2' while
booting. But which device (major/minor number) do I have to use? Or
are there any other things to do? Any documentation about this
(besides the kernel source ;)).

TIA,
 Oliver
