I used netbooting for my SLC. i.e. setting up an complete istallation on
an other machine, fiddle with some deamons (rarp, bootparamd, NFS, ..(?)) 
and it ran. Boot by typing in `boot net'. When booted you've got access to
the harddisc for the `normal' installation process. I got no other choice
since a SLC doens't have floppies/harddiscs :-|.
