I notice a paragrpah in the Technical Reference (Architecture Overview, p1-10)
which states :

  "The AUI interface is DC coupled, and any attachment units used with
  SPARCbook 3 must feature the network isolation function"

Does this refer to the cable or the transciever?  I've not come across the
'network isolation function' before.

Is the UK any use?  I've just bought an AUI cable (530-2021-01) from Acara
(www.acara.co.uk> for #20 (plus VAT and shipping).  It's closer than the US
for you.
