I just mailed that I succeeded to build a small Sun4c only kernel for my
SLC, and that's an Sun4c machine as far as I know. It took a stunning 4+
hours :-((.

Hmmm. is NetBSD 1.4 for the Sparc running on ELF or a.out ?
