Hm... I ordered one when the GX model was at $650 :-/

Does anybody of you know where to get transceivers (or
even better: adapters Mini-D <-> Sub-D) which fit into
the AUI connector of the notebook?

It is a high density 2x13 pin connector. Tadpole sells
somthing suitable for GBP 65 plus shipping (GBP 30)
which probably is a full transceiver, not just an adapter.
