   It is going to work. I think I was the one that added support for them,
   and charles made it to actually work.


and it worked a long time ago -- i added a bunch of ioctl support to
the zs driver before the 1.0 release, but some of it (TIOCMGET being
one) was lost, i believe, when mycroft made the zs driver like the
com driver...

but yes, it all should work in 1.4.
