i just tried to boot a new ELF kernel on my ELF (diskless) and so i had
   to update the boot program...but now it crashes (alignment fault) before
   saying:
   
   Booting netbsd
   ...
   
   
   but after printing "root addr=..." etc.


actually, it prints `Booting netbsd' plus boot: client and server stuff, and
then root addr=... and then crashes.  and it doesn't matter about ELF or a.out.
