My ELC (with a bwtwo) also uses the wrong font.  This weirdness partly
inspired my rant about resolution-change-gravity and cursor-location on
port-arm32.

As for the white-on-black, it seems to use white-on-black on my bwtwo
also, but only up to the point where it spawns init.  Then ``Automatic
boot in progress...'' is in black-on-white.
