If it fits under your table, the machine is a 670, if it is BIG
(70x80cm footprint), it's a 690. If it's a 690 and too big for your
taste, you have 2 options:

	1) Rescue the VME case only, throw away the rest. Who needs all
	   that metal and plasic anyway?
	2) Rescue the main board only, find another VME case (everything
but 3/50 and 3/110 box should work).

True.

Is there anyone out there who has put more than one main board into a
6[79]0 VME case? With some lobotomy on the back plane it should be
possible. The computer club would like to have a more compact solution
instead of 690+670+670 with one main board each.

There are slow (40Mhz) SS10s out there which can be upgraded with CPUs from
scrapped 690s.
