What type of mouse? I've seen this occur on a SPARCstation Voyager. It is
related to an incorrect baudrate of the mouse. I discovered that a
370-1586-01 would do this, while a later revision (370-1586-03) would not.
It's been a while but I want to say the -01 was a 4800baud mouse and the
-03 was 1200.
