I sup'ed today (Saturday Apr 3) and using the 19990323 sparc snapshot
I currently have on my ss20, I built a GENERIC_SCSI3 kernel. When I
boot that kernel, I get this anomaly:

NetBSD 1.4_ALPHA (GENERIC_SCSI3) #0: Sat Apr 3 13:02:24 EST 1999
    kwellsch@ss20:/usr/src/sys/arch/sparc/compile/GENERIC_SCSI3
real mem = 32825344
avail mem = 27758592
	...
ledma0 at sbus0 slot 15 offset 0x400010: rev 2
le0 at ledma0 slot 15 offset 0xc00000 level 6: address 08:00:20:72:9a:dc
le0: 8 receive buffers, 2 transmit buffers
	...
root file system type: ffs
le0: controller failed to initialize
ledma0: error: csr=a0460072<ERR,DRAINING=0,IEN,SLVERR,DSBL_WR_INVAL,TP>
stray interrupt ipl 0x6 pc=0xf00b11e8 npc=0xf00b11ec psr=404000c6<S,PS>
le0: controller failed to initialize
ledma0: error: csr=a0460072<ERR,DRAINING=0,IEN,SLVERR,DSBL_WR_INVAL,TP>
stray interrupt ipl 0x6 pc=0xf001b9dc npc=0xf001b9e0 psr=409001c4<S,PS>

So I returned to the snapshot kernel:

NetBSD 1.3K (GENERIC_SCSI3) #26: Tue Mar 23 22:33:27 MET 1999
    pk@mang:/usr/src/sys/arch/sparc/compile/GENERIC_SCSI3

With which I've not encountered any obvious problems to date.
