I don't appear to see it. I just compiled a little program on an
SS20 that does a chown with `cc -o test test.c -lposix', and it
appears to have linked and run correctly:

     11051 test     CALL  __posix_chown(0x2a40,0,0)
     11051 test     NAMI  "foo"
     11051 test     RET   __posix_chown -1 errno 1 Operation not permitted
