Is the lack of a PROM the only thing that is preventing a Sparckbook 2
from netbooting with the existing kernels?  I assume even with no video
driver I could use a serial console.

Even if Tadpole doesn't disclose any information, still it might be
possible to figure out the proprietary ROM.  I'm encouraged by the
progress the mac68k ports have made despite Apple's refusing to release
information.
