So, I see in -current this nifty little GENERIC.MP file which seems to
hint at multiprocessor support. 

If I were to throw NetBSD on a Sparc 20 with two SM51's, does -current
actually support the use of more than one processor? Or just the
*recognition* of more than one processor?

What's the status there?
