Hi all

I have some problems playing audio cd's on my SS4.
I'm currently running NetBSD-current on it, but the problem also existed on
1.3.3. The machine has an internal Toshiba 2x cdrom drive which has no
problems reading data cd's. There is also a CS4231 sound card that
happily plays mpeg3's and all that.

If I use cdplayer pointing to /dev/rcd0d (which according to the source
for cdplayer should be right for NetBSD) I get an error saying :
cdplayer: Bad file descriptor

If I try /dev/rcd0c I get (after a little wait) an error message on the
console saying:

cd0(esp0:6:0) esp0: timed out [ecb 0xf046710c (flags 0x3, dleft 42, stat
0)], <
state 4, nexus 0xf046710c, phase(1 3, c 3, p 3), resid 26, msg(q 0,o 0) >
cd0(esp0:6:0): esp0: timed out [ecb 0xf046710c (flags 0x43, dleft 42, stat
0)],
<state 4, nexus 0xf046710c, phase(1 3, c 3, p 3), resid 26, msg(q 20,o 0)
> AGAIN
sd0(esp0:3:0): max sync rate 10.00Mb/s
cd0(esp0:6:0): Check Condition on CDB: 0x15 10 00 00 1c 00
    SENSE KEY: Unit Attention
ASC/ASCQ: Power On, Reset, or Bus Device Reset Occurred

And after that I get an "Input/output error".

If I use xcdplayer pointed to /dev/rcd0d I get "/dev/rcd0d: Device not
configured" and with /dev/rcd0c I get the same as with cdplayer.

Any ideas ???
