The TGX+ in my SS5 seems to work fine with 1.3.3.  Except that
exiting from vi on the console messes up the screen.  But that can be fixed
with a clear(1).  Maybe the console driver doesn't realise the card is
in 1280x1024 pixel mode.

According to the card's manual you need the following boot PROM revisions,
though:

IPX >2.0
IPC >2.6
SS2 >2.4
