Yup, that's Solaris.

Looks fairly straightforward.  Do you have any other disk on the
machine, or is the drive at SCSI ID 3 the only one?

If you mean the 1695744+123064+178180 line, that's just reporting the
sizes (in bytes) of various pieces of the kernel.

You could always unpack the distribution by hand.  If you have a
partition on the disk you don't mind scribbling on (aside from the swap
area), this probably could be done.  If you feel like trying it, drop
me a note and I'll be glad to talk off-list about what would be
involved.

As someone already mentioned, CST5CDT is not an available timezone.
You could try CST6CDT, or (preferably) something more like US/Central
or Canada/Central.  But since I never use the canned install procedure,
I shall leave further recommendations on its use to others.
