On 06-Jun-98 matthew green spoke unto us all:
#
# i've got this working finally :) i'll be putting an image up shortly
# that works for me on my ss2. it has a couple of niggly problems (eg,
# it tries to run 'update' but that doesn't exist, and the default $TERM
# is 'sun' which isn't in the termcap file), but it works. when
#
# ftp.netbsd.org:/pub/incoming/mrg/boot13E.fs.gz
#
# exists again, it will be the new one.
I tried downloading this yesterday (fri) about noon (I was doing a reconfigure
of some machines, and the sparc was going to be rebooted, thought I would try it
out..) But attempting to fetch that file interactively from netbsd's ftp
failed. Was it not there?
#
# please let me know how it goes for you. it should offer you a chance
# to run sysinst, halt, or a shell.
#
Just a request.. can we keep the install.sh from the miniroot, and or a similar
one on the floppy. If work needs to be done on it, I'd be glad to put some
into it. I guess I still prefer the "old way" ;)
BTW- Thank you.. the sparc port really needed this.
