I ain't mrg, but...nope.  It's there.  You can't read the contents of
the directory (which is probably why your client made you think the
directory ("folder"?) was empty), but the mrg/ subdirectory really is
there and you can change into it Just Fine.  (If you're using a GUI
client, you may have trouble doing so; in that case, complain to
whoever made the client.)
