these *are* projects that people are working on and hope to have them
done for 1.4.  there are no promises, but know that i personally want
them also :)

the floppy is just a matter of doing the working to have something
useful to do installs with (the current miniroot is too large, to
fit with a kernel on a floppy).  pretty much all the code in netbsd
already exists to support this...


_how_ to create a cdrom has been worked out (though a fully working
cdrom has not yet been made :).  this may involve some minor kernel
changes (we haven't yet determined exactly what they may be :).
