I believe only the AMD 7930 sound chip used in (only?) the sun4c's are
supported. This means 8bit mono sound. The CS4231's and DBRI 16bit audio
are not support. Its the same situation as the sparc/linux people.

Come to think of it, I think the Classic (4m) has a AMD chip in it, too.
