You are missing the point:

	- The m68k was not a clean port and thus was not merged.

	- The Alpha port was the first clean port and was the first
	  one that was fully merged.

My argument still holds.  Doing Linux/Alpha was a more difficult task
since it was the first port of Linux than adding an extra port to the
system.
