I've seen it only with a 1+ I bought recently.  (I also run an SLC with
serial console, but haven't tried to reproduce it there - it's not as
easy, since it doesn't have multiple SCSI targets, so the "esp0: ESP100
work-around activated" message that's the usual provocateur on the 1+
doesn't occur.)
