On some occasions I've seen:
	console is [somewhere else, not here]
	[nothing - dead terminal]

(in which case at leasty I know WHY it looks dead! :)

If the kernel picks the wrong console for any reason, that message
is printed using the PROM output routine, so it is fairly certain
that the user will actually SEE a message before it looks dead.

I dunno... maybe it won't get the console wrong now...
If the message goes away, it won't bother me.
