hey,

I'm setting up a fax server on my SS10 using mgetty 1.1.9 and sendfax
program. In mgetty docs they advise to use /dev/cua* devices for *BSD
derived systems but MAKEDEV has no them.

So the situation is that I can handle incoming /usr/bin/login sessions (by
/dev/ttya) but when I try to send a fax I have the following error
message:

10/01 14:05:09 tya tio_get_rs232_lines: TIOCMGET failed: Inappropriate
ioctl for device

And sendfax's errors:

reeside:mgetty-1.1.9 {154} /usr/local/sbin/sendfax -v 131
/home/jarekb/fax.g3
Trying fax device '/dev/ttya'... OK.
Dialing 131... OK.
sending '/home/jarekb/fax.g3'...

/usr/local/sbin/sendfax: FAILED to transmit '/home/jarekb/fax.g3'.
Transmission error: +FHNG:-5 (Unexpected hangup / read() error / write()
error (int.))

Are /dev/cua* implemented in NetBSD ?
Greets
