You know, I've noticed the same thing happening with my IPX. I can't
even boot off it anymore from the boot PROM state. I wonder if I've
fried it or if it has hit EOL.

I don't know when it went awry, just that it did. I can't eject
the disk, nor can I mount it. This is a veritable bummer considering
I'd like to extract some more sunos stuff from the 1.1.1 (solaris)
cd I have...

 * Hi everyone,
 *
 * Since a while (probably since 1.2G) I cannot use the cdrom on my
 * IPX anymore. When trying to mount it, I get an error:
 * wit387304# mount_cd9660 -o rdonly /dev/cd0c /cd
 * mount_cd9660: Input/output error
 *
 * When I try to use it with XmCD and an audio-disk in it, my machine
 * panics with the message "esp0: nexus in reset state".
 *
 * Is anyone else experiencing similar problems, or did my cdrom just
 * die?
