core files are always in NetBSD format no matter what emulation mode
the program was running in (except perhaps on the hp300, but it's
been a while since I looked). NetBSD/sparc core dumps cannot be
interpreted by SunOS tools and the current version of gdb in NetBSD
barfs at the SunOS executable format.
