   There's an irritating little bug someplace that I haven't been able to
   put my finger on yet. It appears to be related to the memory configuration
   found on the machine.

i dunno, what ever it is, it doesn't happen to me anymore.  i used to
get this once a month or so (check the archives;  i've described the
wierd way it 'always' lost for me many times), until 6-10 months ago
(i can't really remember).  maybe more, but, i don't think so.
