Phil, I believe you have the wrong miniroot.  The current system uses a
merged miniroot which will work on both the older pre-OpenPROM and newer
OpenPROM sparcs.  But if you are using the 1.2 release, it was separated
according to those classes.  I believe the sun4m should use the 
miniroot-sun4c.  Again, this only applies to the 1.2-release.  If you are
installing any other, I'm not entirely sure what's right.  (I lost your
