I am not a NetBSD/Sparc guru here, but here's my take on the Ethernet
problem. I believe that NetBSD supports the older "lance ethernet"
interface cards in SBUS slots, i.e. the ones which do not also have SCSI
interfaces on them, but does not support the newer "Lebuffer" ethernet
cards, which do have SCSI interfaces with them. You probably have one of
the newer SCSI/Ethernet cards, the ones we have which are of the older
variety were purchased before 1991, and so that is your problem.

Hope this helps.
