There I was, compiling xemacs, running Netscape, vi, emacs, irc, screen,
xterm^12, pulling something down with lynx, and viewing another pic with
xv, and the system splashed in my lap.

Unfortunately, the core file was munged, not enough space on /var.
grind$ file netbsd.0.core
netbsd.0.core: data
whee.
I can't be of much help beyond the information given here, but has anyone
seen this before?
