I've noticed this too.  For some reason the scrolling speed on Sparc 1's
and 2's seems incredibly slow, even with the FASTCONSOLE.  I have had the
chance to swap BootROMs and see a difference.  A v2.9 ROM scrolls a little
bit faster than a v2.2.  It makes me wonder if FASTCONSOLE is even doing
its job.
