How do we format disks?  On the Amiga port, I use the Amiga drive
partitioner, and then run newfs in Unix.  (Or, I run the BSD-filesystem
newfs under AmigaDOS, and then fsck -c 2.)

I have an old Sun drive that appears to be getting "non-media hardware
failures", and I thought I'd format it, but I don't know how.
