hi peoples.

when i booted my new kernel i was told that the clock had advanced 79
days. so, i guess it's that long that i've had broken floppy images
up on the ftp server. :-)

anyway, if you have a gander at

ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/arch/sparc/install.floppy you will see
a new boot-12A.fs.gz. this is a floppy image that i was able to
successfully boot (with the micro-12.fs also). read the README that is
in that directory for more details instructions.

this has _ONLY_ been tested on my sparc IPX (hmm, sounds like last time)
so it may not work on other hardware. however, the problem that most
(all?) people were seeing last time had been fixed.

please note that this kernel is actually netbsd 1.2A as netbsd 1.2 does
not have the code to do floppy boots.

as always, let me know of any problems.

thanks,

.mrg.
