A generic SMP solution is in the works for NetBSD.  The Linux SMP code, 
last I checked, was _totally_ different for the SPARC compared to the 
i386.

There's a good chance that NetBSD/sparc will boot on multiprocessor sun4m 
systems, just use only one processor (for now).
