I generally do a `ln -s . tftpboot' in my tftp directory when I run it
chrooted, for those machines that prefix the name with that.

However, it didn't look to me like either my Sun 3s or my Sparc
were doing this when I was netbooting them at work. I've successfully
booted a half dozen Sun 3s and a Sparc from one of my NetBSD/i386
machines.  If you want to (privately) send me some tcpdump logs of
your boot attempt, I'd be happy to look at them.
