hmm..

a -current (yesterday) kernel just told me that:

probe(esp0:5:0): max sync rate 3.96Mb/s
sd3 at scsibus0 targ 5 lun 0: <, , > SCSI0 0/direct fixed
sd3: 0MB, 3584 cyl, 4 head, 0 sec, 512 bytes/sec
probe(esp0:6:0): MSG_MESSAGE_REJECT>>cd0 at scsibus0 targ 6 lun 0: <SONY, CD-ROM CDU-8012, 3.1e> SCSI2 5/cdrom removable

from an older kernel (start of april):
May 6 02:34:33 splode /netbsd: st0 at scsibus0 targ 5 lun 0: <WANGTEK, 6130-HS, 4.13> SCSI2 1/sequential removable
May 6 02:34:33 splode /netbsd: st0: density code 0x13, 1024-byte blocks, write-enabled
May 6 02:34:33 splode /netbsd: probe(esp0:6:0): MSG_MESSAGE_REJECT>>cd0 at scsibus0 targ 6 lun 0: <SONY, CD-ROM CDU-8012, 3.1e> SCSI2 5/cdrom removable

also, what's the MSG_MESAGE_REJECT stuff about ?
