Yup, I am using NFS.  The addition of DDB,DEBUG,DIAGNOSTIC
appears to have fixed it though.  My machine has been up
for 14 hours or so running make build.  Unfortunately the
build aborted with "illegal instruction", but the machine
didn't panic..
Oh, just noticed something else via 'dmesg':
	sed[15050]: unimplemented software trap 0x29

Is this related to the 'illegal instruction' cores?
