NFSv3 is a little larger...Here's what mine look like:

lestat (thorpej) ~ 175% ll /netbsd*
-rw-r--r--  1 root  wheel  1146855 Feb 29 11:09 /netbsd
-rw-r--r--  1 root  wheel  1070685 Feb 29 10:49 /netbsd.bak

I can't imagine what would cause them to grow a full MB, though...
