I've just got acad to start running. The /emul/svr4 was the
trick. This would have been something I could have figured out if
there was documentation... anyways... I get the acad executable
running... and I get the following on the console (but here it's
quoted from /var/log/messages)...

Jan 23 14:24:58 repeat last message repeated 25 times
Jan 23 14:34:57 repeat last message repeated 26 times
Jan 23 14:43:36 repeat last message repeated 42 times
Jan 23 14:43:37 repeat /netbsd: vm_mmap<4>zs0a: fifo overrun
Jan 23 14:43:38 repeat /netbsd: : pmap botch!
Jan 23 14:43:38 repeat /netbsd: vm_mmap: pmap botch!
Jan 23 14:43:41 repeat last message repeated 5 times
Jan 23 14:43:48 repeat /netbsd: zs0a: fifo overrun
Jan 23 14:44:20 repeat last message repeated 6 times
Jan 23 14:46:25 repeat last message repeated 17 times

Ignore the 'fifo' messages. PPP happens to be running at the
momment... so a large (7 meg) executable tends to do that. Is this
somehow related to the netscape problem, or is it due to the fact that
acad wants to open it's own shared libraries?

Dave.
