I have an IBM branded HP DAT drive (it's a model 7206-001, for those who care)
that I'm trying to use with one of my NetBSD/sparc systems. It seems to panic
both my 1.0A (SPARcstation 1) and 1.1 (SPARCstation 1+) systems when I try to
use it. The drive does work properly on my NetBSD/i386-1.0 system, using the
built AIC-6260 SCSI controller on the SoundsBlaster16-SCSI.
Any thoughts? I'd really like to be able to use DAT drive directly from the
file server.
A typical crash looks something like this:
