i am attempting to dump a filesystem to a Exabyte 8205 tape on a sparc ipx
running netbsd 1.1
# dump -0u -d 54000 -f /dev/rst0 -s 6000 /dev/sd0a
(various messages from dump about mapping files and directories)
sd0(esp0:3:0) timed out (ecb 0xf85e68f0 (flags 0x2, dleft 800), state 5, phase 0, msgpriq 0, msgout 0)
(does the above a couple of times)
esp0: SCSI bus reset
DUMP: End of tape detected
and the dump fails
has anybody any idea of what's wrong and how to fix it? the same unit worked
under SunOS 4.1.3
