I am having trouble with the debugger from -current.  When "nexting" through
   code, control sometimes fails to return to the debugger and the application
   runs off to the next breakpoint.  Also nexting through a simple assignment
   statement can take 20 seconds or more.

yeah, it's broken.  the best work around i have is to set breakpoints everywhere
you might want it to stop.  it sucks, but, it seems to work.
