It was posted to current-users how to avoid this.  The interface to the 
dynamic linker was recently upgraded to V4.  First, install new includes, 
next install ld.so (/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/ld/rtld), then new crt0.o.

(I think ... I'll see if I can find Paul's mail ... I saved it 
specifically :-)
