Decided to try the new boot code in the tree on my 4/260:

Illegal instruction 0x00006300 was encountered at PC 0x00004004

Ewww.  I've gone back the the old stuff chuck did until I can look at it 
further.  This was during a netboot, BTW ... I don't trust it enough to 
put it on the disk yet :-)

I remember some reloc foo that chuck changed recently .. Dunno if this is 
related ... like I said, I haven't had a chance to look at it in detail 
yet ... too tired tonight :-)

Oh yeah, this was an update made on Sept 21.
