Only if you have a GXplus or better with 2MB or more of video RAM.  If you do,
then set the PROM environment variable "output-device" to a value of the
form "screen:rHORZxVERTxREFRESH".  For example, to get 1280x1024 at 66Hz,
type:

setenv output-device screen:r1280x1024x66
