I still want to find out about the form of interaction the `installboot'
program should have with disklabel(8). Maybe there should be none even,
as labeling a disk and installing bootblocks into a partition are quite
independent operations.

As far as I was able to verify, it should work on v1 (SS1,SLC,IPC),
v2 (SS2,ELC,IPX) and v3 (Classic,SS5) PROMs, but not "old monitor"
sun4 machines.
