I grabbed the following:
ftp.iastate.edu:/pub/netbsd/NetBSD-current/binaries/sparc

and have attempted to be the distribution on my sparcstation IPC.
I have tried my netbsd drive as scsi id 1 and 3, (my fstab is 
correct), removing the cg6 card, and booting single user, all
with no luck.

The machine hangs every time after saying "found boot disk sd0".
It then flashes the leds on the keyboard and accesses the SCSI
drive twice, after that, nothing.
 
Suggestions on debugging the problem would be appreciated.
